1. is procrastination a problem that affects all people equally? why?
2. is it easy to overcome procrastination?
3. how can someone procrastinate less and increase their productivity?
4. are you a procrastinator? when? how often?
1. For me, and in the video, it’s a problem that affects everyone equally, He explains that all people procrastinate; and that there are different ways to do it. I think it’s a problem that can trigger some kind of anxiety from panic or from the displeasure of doing certain things that when it comes time to do them generates stress for us. Maybe there are people who can control it better, but the result is the same
2. It’s not easy, in the video he explains that people act depending on the time they have to perform a task, if the task is long-term procrastinate it, and if it is short-term act immediately, he gives us the recommendation to use a calendar for order. From my point of view it can become customary to procrastinate everything, just for not wanting to face some things.
3. In the video he says that people can stop procrastinating if they are less distracted, or if they manage to trick their mind into doing their activities. Starting with losing the panic and the displeasure to the things that usually procastinar, only thus can it go creating a habit, but from my perspective procrastinating often comes from anxiety, because that’s my case, in that situation it would work to look for a psychologist as well
4. Yes, I tend to procrastinate when I have a problem and am afraid to express myself, when I have to make an exhibition, when I have to study for a very difficult subject or when I have to organize something, I tend to do so frequently
