ABOUT NATURAL DISASTERS
In class we talked about five natural disasters such as hurricanes, tornadoes, wildfire, floods and earthquakes. We analyze the scale on the severity of the damages caused by these different natural disasters, in this case tornadoes. (Picture)
QUESTION IN CLASS: HOW ARE THESE NATURAL DISASTERS PREDICTED?
They're predicted by meteorologists (scientists that predict the disasters) who do different studies on pollution and air pressure a through forecast.
TYPES OF MESSAGE:
Imperatives (Indirect speech when we want to report what somebody said)
-Affirmative or negative
-Orders that we give to people
-Commands
-Don't have a subject
-Simple present
General statements
-Affirmative, negative or questions.
EXAMPLES:
1. Daniela's mom said, "Clean your room before you leave." Daniela's mom told hear to clean her room before she leaves
2. My brother said, "Don't forget to buy food for lunch together." My brother told me not to forget to buy food for lunch with him
3. My boyfriend said, "Call me after I leave work." My boyfriend told me to call him after he leaves work.
4. Laura told Camilo, "Check your email everyday because our teacher sends important articles." Laura told Camilo to check his emails everyday because their teacher sends important articles.
